Mamelodi Future Entrepreneur

photoRethakgetse Primary School Grade 7 Learners celebrating their entrepreneur day this morning at Mamelodi East. The event was taking place at their school and the purpose was to aid the learners on how to start their own business, earn profit, gain experience and knowledge, said the vice principal Mr Matlala. The learners bought their own food and snacks to sell to their fellow learners, no other businesses was successful that day since learners took over with theirs. The money that they have made is going to fall into the school’s pocket and some of it for their farewell. Thokozani Sebata 13, wants to be an entrepreneur after his matric and he’s enjoying and learning a lot from the event since is going to benefit him in the future. “I enjoy selling hot dogs and snacks at school because some of us don’t get to eat them at home” said Thokozani. Joyce Mathebula 16, also wants to be an entrepreneur after she matriculates, she stated that “Entrepreneur is one of the ways of giving me an opportunity to start my own business and since i’m learning today I will be able to apply this in future”. Learners are looking forward to gain that knowledge, experience and profit.
