According to the source they were there to motivate learners and congratulate the matriculants who passed with distinctions last year and gave them bursaries to further their studies.

“Do not be afraid to ask your teacher if you do not understand something, if you do not, you will be embarrassed when you get your results at the end of the year”, said Ramokgopa.

MEC said that all grade 11 learners at Ribane Laka and across the country will get tablet devices with data paid for.

He further stated that each learner will get an access to the internet until late hours for free but it should be for educational purposes.
