Panyaza Lesufi Promise To Develop Mamelodi Schools
Gauteng Education MEC, Panyaza Lesufi says 2018 is the final year that residents can start taking children to any school they wish for. He said that on Friday when he was presenting his report to the community in Mamelodi West, A5. ” I have realized that the problem is not that children go to school hungry but the quality of food they get in schools”, said Panyaza Lesufi. He added that students need to get a quality of food in schools. The MEC mentioned that Ribane Laka, one of the secondary schools in Mamelodi East, get’s 100 % almost every year and such schools need to be developed. He said that every school that improves, they are going to develop it into a good quality of school, he promised that he’s going spend about 75 million to improve the quality of education in those schools and make sure that top three student of any school in Mamelodi will get a bursary from the government for four years at the university of their choice. More students are expected to pass this year.
