As guests gathered for this launch, I’d say it was more than just an afternoon dedicated to Mamelodians
Howard Zondo launched his book on Saturday at Blueroon in Pretoria Central. The launch was more about changing from pain and disappointments his mom went through into success of his son.
How he was raised played a crucial role into who he has become.
“I’m grateful for everyone who attended to make the launch an absolute success”, said Howard Zondo.
His supporters, Edmond Masemola, Kabelo Mabona, Evelyn Zondo, Mr Tiyiselani Mukhari and Neo Rakoma were all there to give him their full support for his accomplishment.
Tiyiselani Mukhari, a founder of Rich Learning Mentorship Programme for Boys, prepared a speech for guest to know where and how he met with Zondo and also shared his experience in his journey.
“That was impressive especially when he launched his book without even a sponsor, I wish we had more time after the launch for networking purposes”, said one of the guests Mr Matlhaga.
Not only Mamelodians have attended the event, some people came from Cape Town, Brits, Tembisa, Soshanguvhe and Johannesburg. Howard said that he was happy that his mom’s dream became true because of his gift and hard work. The event saw socialite including poets, singers, a play (drama) on stage and everyone coming together to support and making the launch an absolute success. Three more events are to come.
